Dr. A. Scott Cohen is fluent in Japanese, Spanish and has a basic knowledge of Russian and American Sign Language. He is an avid skier, and he enjoys tennis, scuba diving, running, and photography. He has a daughter Mia and a son, Zachary.

For patients who prefer additional comfort during treatment, Dr. Cohen is trained to administer sedation in the form of nitrous-oxide sedation or oral sedation (sleep dentistry). 

Dr. Cohen is a board certified endodontist. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics in 2000. He has been an assistant clinical professor at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry since 1995.

Mark D. Stevenson, D.D.S.

Dr. Mark D. Stevenson joined our practice in May 2002. He practiced endodontics for the four years previously in Oakland and Alameda. Prior to his specialization, Dr. Stevenson practiced general dentistry with his father in South Pasadena for six years.

For patients who prefer additional comfort during treatment, Dr. Stevenson is trained to administer anesthesia in the form of nitrous-oxide sedation, oral sedation or intravenous sedation (sleep dentistry).  

Dr. Stevenson is a board certified endodontist. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics in 2002. He has been appointed assistant clinical professor at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry.

Dr. Stevenson is fluent in Spanish. He and his wife, Jill, now have three children, Carter, Olivia and Patrick.
